Reader's View
If you are writing for the Reader's View section of the magazine, then submit a complete article, max 500 words. Please follow the Chicago Style of Grammar, keep sentences and vocabulary simple, and use American spelling.
Lesson
The lesson must be a part of a novel writing course that is delivered online, in workshops, or self hosted whether independently or in class.
Author Interviews
Author interviews should focus on 'self help' issues. We are not a fame magazine, and are not interested in celeb profiles. We are interested in interviews that focus on the topics listed in the editorial calendar. You can find the calendar on the Advertising page
Content Balance
Please write articles that tell people how to do something. We are not interested in articles that just talk about the writing/publishing process. We are interested that tell personal stories and experiences in the writing and publishing industry.
We are looking for a problem vs solution balance of no more than 20% problem and 40% solution with the rest of the space filled with stories, experiences and quotes.
Writers who want to write in every issue need contact the publisher and discuss a proposal. You can contact the publisher at the Novel Writer Forum
Contributing editors are paid a flat rate per issue. They are listed in the staff section of the magazine.
However, they need the ability to write cutting edge content that writers cannot find on the web.
